John grew up in Mississauga as the son of a builder. Early on he made the decision to follow his father’s footsteps in the building business and at the age of 16 John built his first home during summer break. Graduating from the University of Colorado in 1984 with a business degree, John went to work full time in his father’s Land Development and Construction business. John was involved with property and residential land development, servicing, high-rise residential apartment construction and custom home building. In 1996, John incorporated Sunvale Homes and started building working relationships with key team members at Sunvale.
Now married with three teenage children, he spends his spare time as an active sports enthusiast. John enjoys all outdoor sports, especially Alpine Skiing, Golf and Triathlon. As an active member in his local community, John has been involved with numerous Directorships on Commercial and Non-Profit Boards of Directors. John has served as the President of the Orangeville and District Homebuilders Association and a Committee member for the Ontario Homebuilders Association and he has spent 8 years as a member of the Town of Orangeville Economic Development Committee. John and Sunvale Homes have contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to Orangeville minor sports, Charities, the Headwaters Hospital and the Town of Orangeville Downtown revitalization project.
Since 1996 Sunvale Homes has built homes for over 1,000 very satisfied families. Originally working in Orangville, Sunvale has expanded out to building new communities in Mono, Shelburne, Collingwood, and Waterloo Region. Every year since registration with Tarion Warranty Corporation, Sunvale Homes has received the prestigious President’s Award for Customer Service Excellence and Sunvale Homes has received the Greater Chamber of Commmerce Award for Homebuilder Excellence 2 out of the 3 times it has been awarded.

Cynthia currently lives on a horse farm in Amaranth with her husband Andy, and 2 grown children, Ashley and Trevor who are both completing their post secondary education. Everyone in the family participates in the farm work in between their busy schedules! Life before Sunvale Homes for Cynthia involved selling real estate in the Dufferin County & working for a major relocation firm in Toronto. I think it goes without saying that Cynthia’s passion for selling new homes is paralleled with her love for horses and horseback riding. When there is a spare minute Cynthia enjoys running with her dogs. Cynthia has been a licensed Real Estate professional for 31 years, 20 of those she has had the pleasure of promoting Sunvale’s high quality and unique designs to many Sunvale Homeowners. Donna is a sales and decor consultant for our Collingwood office and has been part of the Sunvale Homes Sales Team since January 0f 1999. Helping her clients realize their dream home is something Donna finds very rewarding. Her career has spanned various aspects of the Customer Service and Human Resources field. She has been a licensed real estate representative in Dufferin County since 1990. “Customer Care” is extremely important to Donna and she firmly believes that the littlest things often make the biggest difference in life.
Donna is bilingual, and obtained a diploma in French Language and Civilization Studies at The Sorbonne, University of Paris, while living overseas in France. As a result, she loves to travel and is intrigued by European culture and cuisine.
Growing up in Belfountain Ontario, Dianne now lives in Arthur with her husband where they have resided for 18 years. Her life is deeply connected to the construction industry as both she and her husband work in the industry; Dianne at Sunvale Homes, and her husband in his home business. Dianne has thoroughly enjoyed her 13 years working working in the construction office at Sunvale Homes co-ordinating projects for our clients.
When not working Dianne enjoys spending time with her 2 children and 4 grandchildren, gardening, cycling and camping.
Katie grew up in a small town just outside of Orangeville and is now living in Mississauga. Katie grew up in a big, close knit family with lots of siblings and cousins. In high school, she started working at Sunvale in the Model Homes on weekends. After high school, Katie moved to Winnipeg, to attended the Royal Winnipeg Ballet school. After graduating in 2013, She moved back home and started working in Sunvale’s Construction Office. When not working at Sunvale Katie also spends her time teaching Dance at various Studios in the GTA.
With each Sunvale Home that is built Katie contributes her attention to detail and dedication to each project, ensuring your new Sunvale Home will fulfill your vision.
Nicholas is the oldest of 3 children, born in Mississauga and raised in Caledon Village. He currently reside just outside Grand Valley with his Wife and 3 children. Before joining the Sunvale team Nicholas worked as a licensed Realtor, buying and selling homes in the Orangeville/Caledon area. Nicholas still holds his Real Estate License and still practice occasionally for friends and family. In his free time you can find Nicholas tinkering with his classic Mustang, or enjoying time with family at the cottage. During your journey through the purchase of your new Sunvale Home you will meet Nicholas at your Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) generally held within the week before closing. Following that inspection, he will be your Sunvale contact for any issues that might arise, questions or warranty concerns.
